Keeping Up With H

Hi, hello, assalamualaikum.
I'm just back for a short time before the fall semester starts. ('Who cares?' Yikes, that's hurtful but whatever).

My first summer has been the most hectic moment of my life. Not really, just exaggerating it but it was hectic anyway; classes start at 6.30 am and end at 6.00 pm (more or less). Hopefully, the foundation prepares us well for the fall semester.

Soooooooooo
I'm still thinking of what should I tell in this post.
I've no idea.
Hm.
Orientation had started two days ago.
It is nerve-wrecking to meet new people (at last since we had been only among Malaysians since 2 months ago in USA).
Meeting people and (actually) speaking english (full-time) are good experiences. I'll get use to them, hopefully.
It is awkward to get to know people with different culture and religion.
I have to learn avoiding handshakes due to my religious belief, Islam but making friends at the same time.
Yes, it is possible. Who says not?
Food? We're lucky enough to find vegetarian food and seafood if no halal food are served.
I think I started to love vegetarian burger a lot. Yayy!
Headscarfs? We rock in them! Lol.
InsyaAllah, we'll try to do our best satisfying our obligation to religion and still living our life to the fullest.

Bertebaranlah di muka bumi Allah. Bawa Islam bersama kita *wink*

Pray for my friend and I over here.
May we get excellent grades and contribute to Malaysia. InsyaAllah.

I know it's a bit too early to say this but hey, join me here in Vanderbilt University!
